Key features

• Burglary protection in accordance with the European standard, EN 1143-1, as certified by EBC-S for Grade 1
  
• DuoGuard has also been approved by ECB-2 in accordance with EN1047-1 in class S60P for one hour's fire protection of paper documents.
  
• The safe's new composite, torch-resistant barrier material - Dualite - ensures burglary and fire protection whilst also reducing it's total weight. The low weight minimises transportation and installation costs.
  
• The three-way boltwork is constructed with solid steel bolts.
  
• For additional security, DuoGuard is fitted with an active relocked and anti-drilling plates have been incorporated into the boltwork to withstand burglary attempts. The plates are specially designed and made with T200X carbide-clad steel for Grade 1.
  
• A Class A mechanial key lock or a Class B high-security electronic lock, approved in accordance with EN1300, are both available as primary lock options. Electronic locks increase the level of security and prevent unauthorised access to the safe.
  
• Every model can be customised with a range of internal fittings to maximise storage capacity.
  
• A data media insert is available, certified 60 Diskette by NT Fire 017, for one hour's fire protection of heat sensitive data media.
  
• DuoGaurd has a modern design with an ergonomonic soft-touch handle.

Lock Options

As the primary locking option, DuoGuard safes can be fitted with either a high-security electronic lock (Class B) or a key lock (Class A).

Dual locking is available from model 110 and up. The primary lock can be complemented by a combination lock or both a key lock and electronic lock can be fitted.

All locks are tested by ECB-S and are certified in accordance with the EN1300 standard.

DuoGuard's high-secueity electronic lock - certified Class B by ECB-S - includes the following features

• 1 master code, 1 supervisor code and 7 user codes
• Time delay for up to 99 minutes between locking and being operated and door being opened. Also equipped with time-delay override.
  
• Protective function to raise silent alarm if lock is being opened under duress.

Testing

Fire Testing

DuoGuard has been approved in accordance with the European standard, EN1047-1 in fire class, which means the safe will protect paper documents for one hour. This certification was awarded by ECB-S (European Certification Board - Security Systems).

Test Procedure

Stage 1
The cabinet is placed in a furnace and heated to a temperature of almost 1000c for 60 minutes to simulate the effects of a severe fire.

Stage 2
The cabinet is removed from the furnace and cooled. When opened, the inner temperate of the cabinet must not exceed 150c.

Burglary Testing

DuoGuard has been approved by ECB-S in accordance with the European Standard, EN 1143-1, for burglary protection Grade 1.

A range of attack tools were used to test DuoGuard's level of resistance, from basic tools to sophisticated machinery such as oxyacetylene torches and thermal lances.

Mini Banker

The Mini Banker is a medium security safe designed to protect your valuables and documents from theft and fire.

Key Features

• High quality construction filled with Chubbsafes proven barrier material provides effective protection.
  
• A glass relocking device is incorporated into the boltwork system to provide additional resistance should the locks be dislodged during an attack. This is for models 3,4,5,6 and 7 only.
  
• Supplied standard with a keylock, however digital locks are available as an option. The lock is protected by a manganese anti drill plate.
  
• 60 minutes fire protection for paper documents.
  
• The front edge of the door is anchored by front moving bolts and fixed docking bolts on the back edge of the door. Each bolt measures 25mm in diameter.
• The safe comes complete with a standard internal steel shelf which is adjustable in intervals to suit individual customer requirements. A single lockable drawer is also included.

Note: Model one is not fitted with a glass relock or drawer.

Testing

The Mini Banker has been tested to the highest quality in its class against attack. Approved by Sold Secure to Gold Standard for burglary protection. Sold Secure is an independent testing authority approved by the British Home Office.

Fire Resistance

The range offers fire protection for 60 minutes for paper contents. In case of fire the intumescent strips around the opening of the body expand to seal the gaps between the door and body to provide 60 minutes of fire protection.
